MACEDONIA

Doctor Susan M. Jones is a native of North Augusta South Carolina. She accepted Christ early in life and was baptized at Second Providence Baptist Church. While in North Augusta she met and married Charles E. Jones of Augusta, Georgia. They have two children, Marcus and Kristen. Susan was licensed in the ministry in 1998 and ordained in 2001 at Antioch-Lithonia Missionary Baptist Church of Lithonia, Georgia under Reverend James C. Ward.

Susan is a graduate of North Augusta High School of North Augusta, SC. She holds a diploma in Biblical Studies from Bob Jones University, a Bachelor and Masters in Christian Counseling, Master of Theology and Doctorate of Pastoral Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary. She is a licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and licensed Clinical Christian Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association.

Susan has work in many capacities in the Christian Church, including: Minister of Education, President of the Deaconess Ministry, Teaching Elder, and Conference organizer. She also served as Associate Minister and Interim Pastor at Mount Olivet Missionary Baptist Church before joining New Mountain Top Baptist Church of Winston, Georgia as an Associate Minister under Bishop A. Reginald Litman in 2012.

In 2014 Susan was called to serve as Interim Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church of Villa Rica Georgia and installed as Pastor in August of that year. She has served as Pastor of Macedonia for almost five years. The church has grown spiritually, numerically, and financially under her faithful leadership.
